Customer data never leaves your cloud

SuprSend runs as a data plane inside your AWS, GCP, or Azure account: your events, payloads, and subscriber data never leave your VPC. SuprSend’s control plane handles deployments, upgrades, and monitoring. Managed like SaaS, hosted in your cloud.

Frequently Asked Questions

We're here to help with any questions you have about plans, pricing, and supported features.
What is BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) in SuprSend?
BYOC is a deployment model where SuprSend runs inside your own cloud account, with your notification data staying in your VPC while SuprSend operates the software for you. You provide the cloud environment, and SuprSend manages the platform layer: provisioning, updates, and monitoring. It gives you the data residency of self-hosting with an operating experience closer to SuprSend Cloud.
How is BYOC different from self-hosted and from SuprSend Cloud?
The three models sit on a gradient of who runs what. With SuprSend Cloud, SuprSend runs everything in its own environment. With BYOC, your data plane runs in your cloud account while SuprSend operates the control plane, so responsibility is shared. With self-hosted, both the data plane and the control plane run in your environment and your team operates all of it. BYOC is the middle path: your data never leaves your account, but you offload most of the operational work to SuprSend.
Why would we choose BYOC over self-hosting SuprSend?
Choose BYOC when you need your data to stay in your own cloud but you do not want to operate the platform yourself. Self-hosting gives you maximum control and asks your team to own uptime, scaling, upgrades, and backups. BYOC keeps the same data boundary while SuprSend handles upgrades, monitoring, and day-to-day platform operations, so you get sovereignty without the full operational burden.
Where does our data live in a BYOC deployment?
All of your notification data stays inside your own cloud account. Recipient data, message content, and delivery logs run in the data plane deployed in your VPC, and they never move to SuprSend's environment. This is what lets regulated teams keep recipient PII inside their own compliance boundary.
What can SuprSend access in our environment?
SuprSend's control plane operates the deployment through scoped, least-privilege access and does not hold a copy of your data. In a standard BYOC model, the control plane pushes updates and configuration and reads health metrics, while your data stays in your data plane under your own controls.
Do we need to open inbound ports to SuprSend?
The best-practice BYOC model uses egress-only, identity-based connectivity, so you do not open inbound ports into your cloud. Your environment reaches out to the control plane rather than the control plane reaching in, which is what keeps the setup passable in a security review.
Can we audit and revoke SuprSend's access?
Yes. In a well-designed BYOC deployment, the vendor's actions inside your account are logged to your own audit trail, and you can revoke access at any time. Because the environment is your cloud account, your existing IAM, logging, and network controls govern it.
Is data encrypted in a BYOC deployment?
Yes. Data in transit uses TLS, and data at rest uses the encryption of the storage in your own cloud account, under keys you control. Because the data plane is yours, the encryption standard and key management follow your cloud's controls rather than a third party's.
What do we need to provide to run BYOC?
You provide a cloud account (AWS, GCP or Azure), where SuprSend provisions a dedicated, VPC-isolated environment for your deployment. SuprSend handles the provisioning and the platform setup
Who handles upgrades, scaling, and maintenance?
SuprSend operates the platform layer, including upgrades, monitoring, and scaling through the SuprSend app, while you own the cloud environment it runs in. This is the shared-responsibility split: SuprSend keeps the software current and healthy, and your team owns the cloud account, the network, and the infrastructure policies around it.
Who is BYOC for?
BYOC is built for teams that must keep data in their own cloud for compliance or residency reasons but prefer not to operate the platform themselves. It fits regulated industries like fintech, insurance, and healthcare, and teams with committed cloud spend they want to use.
How do we get BYOC, and is it generally available?
BYOC is offered on the Enterprise plan and set up with SuprSend's team, who provision the environment in your cloud account.
